1. Promoter
This promotion is run jointly by APLY Limited, APLYiD PTY LTD, and APLY UK LIMITED (together, "APLYiD"). By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Competition period
The competition opens at 12:00 AM AEST on 29 April 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM AEST on 15 May 2026 (the "Entry Period"). Entries received outside of this period will not be considered.
3. Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
The following persons are not eligible to enter:
- Employees, contractors, directors, or officers of APLYiD or any of its related entities;
- Immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, or child) of the above; or
- Any person who has been previously disqualified from an APLYiD promotion.
4. How to enter
To enter, participants must submit a name suggestion for APLYiD's AML Monster via the official competition form on an APLYiD campaign landing page during the Entry Period.
Entries must:
- Be submitted through the official APLYiD competition landing page;
- Include a suggested name for the APLYiD AML Monster; and
- Be the entrant's own original suggestion.
- One (1) entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
5. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a weekend trip to Sydney, Australia (the "Prize"), which includes:
- Return flights to Sydney, booked and selected by APLYiD;
- Accommodation in Sydney for the duration of the trip, selected and booked by APLYiD; and
- A visit to the APLYiD team at their Sydney office or a location nominated by APLYiD during the trip.
The Prize has no cash value and is non-transferable. APLYiD reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if required due to circumstances beyond its control.
APLYiD will select all flights and accommodation at its sole discretion. Specific airlines, flight times, cabin class, and hotel selection are at APLYiD's discretion. The winner may not substitute or alter any component of the Prize.
All other costs associated with the Prize, including but not limited to meals, transport, travel insurance, and personal expenses, are the winner's responsibility unless otherwise stated.
6. Prize conditions & redemption
The Prize must be redeemed (i.e. the trip must be taken) before 30 June 2026. APLYiD will work with the winner to schedule dates within this window, subject to availability.
The winner must be available to visit the APLYiD team at a time agreed with APLYiD as part of the Prize trip. Failure to do so may result in the Prize being forfeited.
If the winner is unable to travel before 30 June 2026 for any reason, the Prize will be forfeited and no alternative will be offered.
7. Winner selection
The winner will be selected by APLYiD at its sole discretion based on the creativity, originality, and relevance of the name suggestion. The judging panel's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner will be notified via the contact details provided at the time of entry within 10 business days of the close of the Entry Period. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 5 business days of notification, APLYiD reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
APLYiD may, at its discretion, publish the winner's name and their submitted entry on APLYiD's website, social media channels, or other marketing materials.
8. Intellectual property & publicity
By entering, participants grant APLYiD a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish, and adapt their submitted name suggestion for any purpose, including naming the APLYiD AML Monster and promotional activities, without further compensation.
By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to APLYiD using their name, likeness, and/or submitted entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
9. General conditions
APLYiD reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
APLYiD reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this promotion at any time without notice if, in its reasonable opinion, the promotion is not capable of being conducted as planned due to technical failures, fraud, or any other event outside APLYiD's reasonable control.
APLYiD is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for any technical difficulties experienced in submitting an entry.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, APLYiD excludes all liability in connection with this promotion, including any loss, damage, personal injury, or death arising from participation.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with APLYiD's Privacy Policy. By entering, participants consent to APLYiD collecting, using, and disclosing their personal information for the purpose of administering this promotion and, if applicable, publicising the winner.
